Exesight at the South West Car Fest
Exesight were excited to be asked to the South West Car Fest, a car show held at Westpoint this last weekend. Our job was to photograph visitors with the famous cars on show (two Batmobiles - the 1989 Tim Burton and the 1960s Adam West version, the Dukes of Hazard General Lee, KITT from Knight Rider, and a Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino), and also to photograph exhibitor/visitor cars in a specially made car studio!
This was a big undertaking that involved virtually everything we have, including ten of our fourteen studio lights, eight members of staff, six cameras, loads of lenses and lots more besides! It was a hectic two days, but it was a lot of fun and we met loads of really nice people. The video above illustrates the kind of things we got up to over the weekend, and consists of footage grabbed during breaks!
We'd like to extend our thanks to Howard, Alex and everyone else who helped to organise the event, as well as the amazing Plymouth Calendar Girls, who were a joy to work with. Thanks also to the owners of the cars and to everybody we photographed. You can see some examples of our work below, but the full galleries are available here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/exesight/sets/
